1. Oracle JDK 21 updates were offered under the No-Fee Terms and Conditions (NFTC) until September 2026. Oracle says later JDK 21 updates are licensed under the Java SE OTN license, and production use beyond the limited free grants of the OTN license requires a fee.Oracle JDK 21 업데이트는 2026년 9월까지 무료 이용 조건(NFTC, Oracle No-Fee Terms and Conditions)으로 제공되었습니다. 이후 JDK 21 업데이트는 Java SE OTN 라이선스로 제공되며, OTN의 제한된 무료 범위를 넘는 운영(production) 사용에는 비용이 필요하다고 Oracle은 안내합니다.[1]
2. Oracle’s support roadmap says JDK 21 updates released from the October 2026 Critical Patch Update are planned under the OTN license, and that update is scheduled for 20 October 2026. 4. The paid Java SE Universal Subscription is priced per employee. Employees include full-time, part-time and temporary staff, plus those of agents, contractors, outsourcers and consultants that support internal operations, counted regardless of how many people actually use Java. On the 8 October 2026 price list the 3,000–9,999 band is USD 10.50 per employee per month, with separate small-business bands below 3,000 employees.유료 Java SE Universal Subscription은 직원 수 기준으로 가격이 매겨집니다. 여기서 직원에는 정규직·파트타임·임시직뿐 아니라 내부 업무를 지원하는 대리인·계약자·외주·컨설턴트의 직원도 포함되며, Java를 실제로 쓰는 사람 수와 관계없이 셉니다. 2026년 10월 8일자 가격표에서 3,000~9,999명 구간은 직원 1인당 월 10.50달러이고, 3,000명 미만은 별도의 소규모 기업 가격 구간이 있습니다.[4]
